Software
The Cambridge Group, Inc. and Cimarron
have created a comprehensive
Strategic Performance System™ for Education. These two premier
firms have teamed to develop a total system approach that combines
the acclaimed planning and organization development processes of
Cambridge with a state-of-the-art software package from Cimarron,
a leading NASA support company and a developer of education software.
Strategic Performance System (SPS)
- SPS is designed to integrate planning and performance throughout
the entire school district.
- SPS will make it possible for a school to develop a single plan that
meets the requirements of all external agencies.
- SPS will equip the local school to develop a plan that exceeds all
state, national, and accreditation standards for student achievement.
- SPS will allow the district to track, monitor, and report every aspect
of its performance and strategically deploy resources to areas of critical need.
- SPS will enable each school to respond to the specific need and
aspirations of all students.
- SPS provides the district and each school with the capability of
translating the district and school plans into specific job responsibilities
and objectives for all staff.
The Cambridge process & discipline is based on the following principles:
- All decisions are made based in the best interest of the student
- All plans are community-based, involving all segments of the population
- All decisions are made by total agreement (beyond consensus)
- All plans are driven by measurable results
- All plans can be converted into action immediately after approval
- The community culture is honored in the uniqueness of each plan
The Cimarron software package provides:
- Correlation of district and school performance objectives to state,
national, and accreditation standards
- Continuous tracking, monitoring, and reporting of academic progress
by both the school and the district
- Built-in accountability
- Optimization of existing resources
- Responsive allocation of resources to critical needs
- Identification of available local, state, and national funding.
