Strategic Thinking
Strategic thinking means seeing in different ways. This program will enable you to prepare your organization for planning before the activity actually begins; identify leaders within your organization necessary for the planning effort; and recognize the need for system and individual capacities that will ensure the plan is realized. The five arenas of strategic thinking are examined in depth. (2.5 Days)
This course is designed primarily for school boards and administrators. The purpose is to ensure both an understanding of and a commitment to the creation of a complete strategic system that goes beyond traditional organizational structures.
Five arenas of strategic thinking are explored:
1. The definition of Strategics®
2. The dilemma of leaders vs. leadership
3. The difference between cause and condition
4. The demise of the corporation-model organization
5. The dimensions and dynamics of strategic systems
