Danny Modisette serves as a Senior Strategist for Cambridge Strategic Services. He concluded 37 years in public education in June of 2007, the last 28 years with the Plano Independent School District. In Plano, he served as Deputy Superintendent, Area Assistant Superintendent, Executive Director of Human Resources, Director of Personnel, middle school Principal, and high school teacher. He had oversight of the daily operations of Plano ISD, including campus administration, human resources, student services, safety and security, internal audit and legal issues. Additionally, he has directed and facilitated strategic and project planning, internally and externally, for the last fifteen years.
Experience:
- Certified as Cambridge Strategic Planning facilitator for district and site planning.
- Certified by the Texas Education Agency as a provider of School District Board Member Continuing Education. Administrative liaison to Citizen’s Bond Committees in 2000 and 2004.
- Administrative oversight of opening of twelve (12) campuses, including attendance and boundary decisions, reallocation of staffing, and selection of principals.
- Development of staff allocation formulas to initiate academic teaming in middle schools and block scheduling in high schools.
