Scott Milder is a Principal and Communications Strategist with Cambridge Strategic Services, a firm that specializes in comprehensive strategic planning, public relations, and campaign management for educational systems. Scott’s primary role with Cambridge is to help school systems strengthen community confidence in their schools by guiding them, in partnership with their communities, to identify their strategic intent, communicate that intent, and work toward that intent.

Prior to Cambridge, Scott dedicated nearly 10 years as a principal with SHW Group Architects, where his primary objective was to position the firm as an organization passionately committed to the advancement of public education. This is a culture he instilled in the firm following his work as public information officer for the Galena Park ISD and as media relations director for Mesquite ISD.

With a passionate commitment to public education, Scott and his wife Leslie founded Friends of Texas Public Schools, a nonprofit organization committed to educating Texans about the strengths and achievements of Texas public schools... and there are plenty! Cambridge donates 50 percent of Scott's time to run Friends of Texas Public Schools, which is emerging as a well-known champion for public education in Texas. With newsletters, educator trainings and workshops, media advisories, posters, billboards, radio ads and more, Friends is working to correct the widespread misperceptions of failure and restore public pride in Texas public schools.
