Becky Cowan has nearly 10 years of experience working with school systems in their communications and marketing programs and will serve on the team as a Strategist in plan development and action. Becky has mastered the art of engaging communities and understands the importance of the strategic and tactical planning process in building community confidence. In fact, as a result of her service to school districts, her clients have collectively passed more than $2 billion in bond elections.

With the backdrop of successful elections as a road map, Becky goes behind the scenes in your district to gather community knowledge, identify key players and influence mindsets, neighborhood by neighborhood. Becky is skilled at identifying issues surrounding your school system to ensure the success of your campaign.

Intimately familiar with the ethics laws pertaining to school districts and political advertising, Becky has taught Superintendent Academies, presented at TASA/TASB and TASA conferences, presented at TASBO as well as provided training to many school boards across the state on ethics related issues and successful campaigns. 

Becky began her career working in the classroom as a substitute teacher in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Shortly after, she began working in the educational architecture/engineering industry where she developed her bond planning and campaign management skills, which led her to consulting work and ultimately to the Cambridge team.
